Delete your Balance account

Delete your account in the app

1. Open Balance and log in to your account.
2. Go to your Profile.
3. Tap DELETE ACCOUNT.
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

This deletes your Balance account and account-linked app data, subject to the limited retention described below.

Request deletion from this page

You can request account deletion from the web without opening the app. Use the form below, or email shannon@plantbased-balance.org from the email address connected with your Balance account.

If your request relates to Facebook or Instagram data, include the Facebook Page, Instagram account, or email address you used when granting access, so we can identify the relevant record.

Data deleted

• Account profile and contact information that is no longer needed to provide the service.
• App activity linked to your Balance account, including workouts, habits, check-ins, challenges, messages, progress photos, and support records where deletion is permitted.
• Connected Facebook, Instagram, or Meta authorization records where applicable.
• Stored coaching or support data that is not required for legal, safety, billing, tax, dispute, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Data retained

Some records may be retained where required for payment processing, tax and accounting records, fraud prevention, safety, dispute handling, legal compliance, or legitimate business record keeping.

Financial and tax records may be retained for up to 7 years where required. Safety, fraud, dispute, and legal records may be retained while the issue is active and for a reasonable period after closure.

Processing time

We aim to respond to deletion requests within 30 days. Once your identity is verified, we will delete eligible data and confirm when the request has been completed.
